6. Cookie Files

EU Regulation on obtaining consent for storing cookie files

According to European legislation, it is mandatory to inform Users that cookie files and other tools for storing information are used.

What are cookie files?

A cookie file refers to a small data file that a Website sends to the browser, which then stores it on the User's computer. On subsequent visits to the same server, the browser sends this data back to the server. Cookie files are commonly used to distinguish individual Users, store User preferences, and facilitate the use of Websites.

Cookie files do not pose any danger to the computer itself. However, they are significant for privacy protection. A visited Website can store any information it learns about the visitor in cookie files and gradually gather insights into the specific visitor's interests. Nevertheless, cookie files cannot be used to determine the identity of visitors.

Information from cookie files can be used for targeted advertising, statistical analysis of visitor behavior, and more. However, such information can also be obtained without cookie files, so their use cannot be considered particularly dangerous.

Use of cookie files on these Websites

This Website uses cookie files, whether its own cookie files or third-party cookie files, depending on the functionality provided. Typically, but not exclusively, these cookie files are from Google LLC. In the advertising system, cookie files may be used over which we have no control, and their allocation and processing occur outside of our influence.

If you do not wish for this Website to store cookie files on your computer, you have the option to not use this Website, block cookie files directly in your web browser settings, or adjust your preferences for their use below on the page.
